I'm Doug — a software developer based in Ohio, building things that mostly work and writing about the parts that don't.

By day, I'm a Senior Software Developer for a Fortune 100 company. Off-hours, I work on FolioKit, a CMS and editor library suite I'm developing as the foundation for sites like this one.

Outside the keyboard, I'm a husband, a father, and a lifelong gamer who still believes the best games respect your time. This blog is where I document the work: the milestones, the rebuilds, the lessons, and the occasional reflection on what it all adds up to.
